General-purpose gantry cranes are used for general cargo handling operations, employing hooks to transport various packaged items and bulk materials. Under suitable weather conditions, they can operate and undergo maintenance 24 hours a day. Their electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems must meet the on-site climate conditions and operational cycle requirements.
The operation and monitoring of the gantry crane are fully controlled by a fully digital AC variable frequency drive and PLC, providing reliable and effective control functions. The electrical control system, hoisting and traveling mechanisms, lifting equipment, electrical safety devices, emergency and working brakes, operator cab, machine room, and all other components on this machine are designed to operate efficiently and without faults.
The gantry crane can accommodate simultaneous operations such as main hoisting and trolley travel, or main crane travel and trolley travel. It is equipped with a comprehensive safety protection and fault alarm display system. In the event of a fault, the location can be quickly identified based on the display. The gantry crane can operate continuously under full load and at rated speed, and is capable of handling general cargo handling in harsh working environments.
