Fixed cranes must adhere to strict safety requirements during use to ensure the safety of operators and the surrounding environment. The structural design of cranes must comply with safety standards to ensure stability and reliability under various working conditions. Crane installation must be performed by technical personnel to ensure secure installation, stable foundations, and compliance with manufacturer guidelines and relevant regulations. Before daily use, operators must conduct a thorough inspection, including but not limited to checking the structural integrity of the crane, electrical systems, braking systems, hooks, and lifting equipment. Any damaged or worn components must be immediately replaced or repaired. Additionally, crane maintenance and servicing must be performed regularly to prevent potential failures. Crane operators must undergo technical training and hold the appropriate operating certificates. During operation, strict adherence to operating procedures is required, and overloading is prohibited. Appropriate lifting methods should be selected based on the work environment and load conditions. During lifting operations, clear safety warning zones should be established to prevent unauthorized personnel from entering. The operating environment of the crane must also meet safety requirements, such as sufficient space in the work area, avoidance of contact with power lines, and a solid, level ground surface to prevent the crane from tilting or overturning. Under adverse weather conditions, such as strong winds or thunderstorms, crane operations should be suspended. Cranes should be equipped with necessary safety devices, such as limit switches, alarms, and emergency stop mechanisms, to enable swift action in emergencies. All safety equipment should be regularly inspected and tested to ensure proper functionality. By implementing these safety measures, the risks associated with the use of fixed cranes can be effectively minimized.
